ရိုးမ (တောင်တန်း) = Range

ချင်းတောင်တန်း = Chin Hills (The Chin Hills are a mountainous region located on the border between Myanmar (Burma) and India, specifically the state of Mizoram.)

ရှမ်းကုန်းပြင်မြင့် = Shan Plateau (The Shan Hills also known as Shan Highland, is a vast mountainous zone that extends through Yunnan to Myanmar and Thailand.)

ကချင်တောင်များ = The Kachin Hills are a heavily forested group of highlands in the extreme northeastern area of the Kachin State of Burma.

ပဲခူးရိုးမတောင်တန်း၊ ပဲခူးရိုးမ (အလယ်ရိုးမ) = The Pegu Range is a range of low mountains or hills and uplands between the Irrawaddy and the Sittaung River in central Burma (Myanmar). 

အနောက်ရိုးမဆိုတာ မြန်မာပြည်အနောက်ပိုင်း မြောက်ထိပ်ကနေ တောင်ဘက်ထိပ်အထိကိုခေါ်တယ်။ အနောက်ဘက် တောင်ကုန်းဒေသလို့လည်း ခေါ်တယ်။ ရခိုင်တောင်ကုန်းဒေသ၊ ချင်းတောင်တန်း၊ လူရှေ (လူရှိုင်း)တောင်တွေပါတယ်။ ရခိုင်ရိုးမတောင်တန်းက ရခိုင်ကမ်းရိုးတန်းနဲ့ယှဉ်ပြီး ထိုးထွက်နေတဲ့ တောင်တန်းဖြစ်တယ်။
